Research Alert: Social Media is apparently a global phenomenon

Doubt it?  Ok, but here are 167 slides which more or less indicate it is. So what are you doing to leverage it in your job, for your brand, for your career, in your products or just for your life?

Maybe only 147 of the slides would have worked.

    Thanks for posting.

What’s most surprising about this study is what is not covered. i.e not a single country in Africa or the Mid East only two countries – US, Brazil – in all of the Americas etc.

It’s hard to call this a “global” study. Population wise, they’ve got China, India most of Europe and the former Soviet states, so the numbers are large, but it omits many countries and geographies. Too bad, because given how socmed has been used in African and MidEast countries, or in some of the countries in the Americas, this could change the findings.
