Top 5 Tweets

So this [tag]top 5[/tag] tweets is as much about content as it is realization on the difficulty of staying on top of things.  Oh the things people tweet.

Why does content from [tag]tweets[/tag] seem so interesting, benign and poignant some times?

Thank goodness not in syzygy

So apparently this kid fresh with a license parked his relatively new vehicle during [tag]low tide[/tag] and returned during [tag]high tide[/tag]. Not interested in moving content towards [tag]astronomy[/tag], but syzygy would have been bad.

So what’s [tag]syzygy[/tag]?

From wikipedia other uses also exist outside of astronomy:

In astronomy, a syzygy is the alignment of three or more celestial bodies in the same gravitational system along a straight line. The word is usually used in context with the Sun, Earth, and the Moon or a planet, where the latter is in conjunction or opposition. Solar and [tag]lunar eclipses[/tag] occur at times of syzygy, as do transits and [tag]occultations[/tag]. The term is also applied to each instance of New Moon or [tag]Full Moon[/tag] when Sun and Moon are in conjunction or opposition, even though they are not precisely on one line with the Earth.

Moderating comments – not a big fan but…

So I don’t like moderating comments but if I didn’t i’d get trash like this:

Nice post.
I am sure you’ll like my site..
Thank You Again

The reason I call this trash, is because the nice post which this person is referring to is this one:

Test Geotag

I guess it’s a nice post because it worked to bring someone here and appears to be appropriate grammar, which is a challenge for me. I’m really glad for [tag]Akismet[/tag] since it “has protected your site from 597 spam comments”.  I’ve not told more than 20 people about this whole blog thing, as it is my experiment to understand content and alike for future use, plus it’s kinda fun.

Are there other tools I could use which would better catch spam and allow for real-time comment posting?
