So where are all those product managers, product marketers and marketing leaders in the US? Well, not sure this is all of them, but statistically it is certainly representative of where technology PM and PMM folks are with 1320 data points mapped.
The data for the map below is sourced from the the state information provided by US respondents of the 2010-2011 Pragmatic Marketing Survey.

I’d try full screen mode.
So I’ve been working on my proposed ProductCamp Atlanta presentation (Who Are You? Where are you Going) and I happened across a lively discussion on LinkedIn which is right up alley of the presentation I’ve proposed. The discussion on linkedIn has been going on for some time and centers on defining what makes a good product manager with one word. So since I was already in PowerPoint, I thought I might create an edited list from the discussion.
Many thanks to contributors to this re-mix.
So I was browsing slideshare this morning and Chris Cummings presentation from a couple of years ago is on the first page as a featured presentation. I thought it was great when I first saw it, but since it is taking on a second life and to make sure more folks get to see it I decided to post. Nice Job Chris! Whew… that was a long title, so is the presentation, but it is spot on. Marketing content isn’t a haphazard “get it done set of tasks” for us as marketeers and brand folk. Mark Fidelman from Seek Omega nails in 74 slides.
